Those of us who regularly shop on line are familiar with the array of free gifts, free bonuses, and just plain freebies that are offered to a visitor to a website to encourage them to buy.

How could you collect, select and offer free gifts, which will be valued as much as the original merchandise that is being purchased, put these gifts together and add them to a software application?

There are just four steps to do that very thing. Let's go through them together.

1. You'll need to do some keyword research for what people in your niche are looking for.

2. Once you know what keywords to use, type those words into your favorite search engine, and then research the Internet for related free gifts. Now you are looking for things that you could give as free gifts from within your software that will make it more appealing and give it more pass-along appeal to your readers.

For example: If you are selling gardening supplies, find a planting guide on the web that can be downloaded and include that as a gift in your viral software.

I would say between 15-20 freebies in any one software would be plenty! Just make sure they are all related to your niche.

3. Compile your freebies!

Now this is where they techy stuff comes in. You could simply create an HTML page and list all your freebies, and then put that page inside of an .exe program.

Or better yet, just find a freelance site, and pay someone $50 or less to do that for you.

4. Once you have your new software compiled you will want to get it out there. You can search online for "freebie sites" and find tons of sites that you can post your freebie on.

People in your niche will find your freebie, and if you've put all the viral marketing properties in it that you're supposed to, they'll pass it on, and those people will pass it on, and your viral marketing campaign will be rolling.

Now this is just one quick and easy strategy that you can use to create your own viral marketing software product. Don't just stop with one though. You'll want to create as many as you can to keep getting more and more traffic.

Think of each one as a virtual salesman for you. The more you have the more sales and traffic you'll get!
